Anzac Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 oz/55 grams flour
  • 2 oz/55 grams butter
  • 3 oz/85 grams sugar
  • 1Tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 teacup coconut
  • 1 teacup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 2 Tbsp boiling water

Method

Mix together flour, sugar, coconut and rolled oats.

Melt butter and golden syrup.

Dissolve soda in the boiling water and add to the butter and golden syrup.

Make a well in the centre of the flour and stir in the liquid.

Place spoonfuls on cold greased trays.

Bake 15-20 mins at 175C.
