Preheat the oven to 250°C.
Heat oven to 160°C (if you are using a fan oven, set the temperature at 140°C).
Put water, oil, coffee, butter, chocolate and sugar into a pot and melt (do not overheat). Cool slightly.
Put flour, baking powder and cocoa powder into a bowl and sieve very well. Mix with the wet ingredients and then add eggs.
Put into 9” (22 cm) round or 8” (20 cm) square lined tin and bake for two hours.
Take out of oven when inserted skewer comes out clean.
