Churros balls and dark chocolate chilli sauce

Step 1: Churros balls

Ingredients:

          1 ½ cup self-rising flour

          1 tsp baking powder

          ½ cup butter

          Pinch of salt

          2 ½ cups water

Method:

          In a pot, boil the water over high heat with butter and salt. Once boiling remove from the heat and add the sifted flour and baking powder. Stir with a wooden spoon until lump free and smooth dough is formed. Let it stand for 10 – 15 minutes. Make round balls out of the dough and fry on a medium high heat until golden brown. Set aside.

Step 2: Dark chocolate and chilli sauce

Ingredients:

          180 g dark chocolates (buttons or blocks)

          1 tsp. chilli powder

          100 ml cream

Method:

          Combine all ingredients together on bowl, and using microwave, set the time for 1 minute and turn on. After a minute, remove the bowl from the microwave and stir until all the chocolates are melted. Set aside.

To assemble

          Cut the cooled cake into bite sized squares. Using a piping bag, pipe the cream over the sliced portions and serve.
