Salted Caramel Ice Cream

(Make 4 cups)


  • 1 can caramelized sweetened condensed milk

Using the empty can as the measurement –

  • 1 can cream
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt flakes, to taste


Empty the condensed milk into a large bowl.  Add the cream and milk.  Using and electric mixer, beat until thick and smooth.  Add the salt flakes to taste.  Freeze in an ice cream machine or freeze in a covered container, whisking with a fork after one hour to break up any ice crystals. 

Will keep in the freezer for 2 weeks. Soften for 5 minutes at room temperature before serving.  This recipe can easily be multiplied for larger servings.

Drinks Match

Soda water or Campari and freshly squeezed orange juice (1/3 Campari, 2/3 orange juice).
