A concert recorded in Reykjavik, from the Iceland Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy.

The programme includes Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony and Rachmaninov’s Third Piano Concerto (“Rach 3”) which has the reputation of being one of the most technically challenging piano concertos in the standard repertoire.

This concert was recorded in the Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik by Iceland Radio
