Reynaldo Hahn was born in Caracas, Venezuela and died in Paris, France.
He was a man of many talents but is especially remembered for his exquisite French art-songs.
As well as being an accomplished composer, he was a conductor, music critic, diarist, theatre director, and salon singer.
At one time he was the director of the Paris Opéra.
