Made in the Great War

Made in the Great War

This Anzac weekend, the story of a 1915 violin left unfinished when its owner is called up for front line duties in World War I. Years later, Sam Sweeney, fiddler from the British folk band Bellowhead, finds it in an Oxford music shop. Join Sam, fellow musicians Rob Harbron and Paul Sartin, as they play out this poignant tale with Hugh Lupton narrating.
