The New Zealand Secondary Student's Choir celebrated its 30th anniversary with a special concert in Sacred Heart Cathedral, Wellington, conducted by Andrew Withington.

In the 30 year history of the choir, they estimate that 1000 singers have passed through the ranks. Membership of the choir is seen as an opportunity to develop not only musical excellence but also to equip talented young people with leadership qualities to offer to the New Zealand arts sector.
