Blonde On Blonde Revisited

From New Horizons, 5:00 pm on 5 January 2017

It's 50 years since Bob Dylan released his seventh studio album Blonde On Blonde. MOJO Magazine celebrated the fact in its July issue with a tribute CD and William Dart takes a look at the good bits and mentions in passing the not-so-good bits. Artists featured are Malcolm Middleton, Michael Chapman, Jim O'Rourke and Marissa Nadler. He wasn't so keen on the new version of 'Just Like a Woman' so he goes back to one of his favourite covers of this controversial song ... by Nina Simone.
