It's been over forty years since the distinctive James Bond Theme first twanged forth from the silver screen.
In the second of two programmes surveying John Barry's music for the Bond movies, James Gardner, a closet Barry fan since 1967, focuses on the scores from the '70s and '80s (You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Diamond's Are Forever, The Man With The Golden Gun, and The Living Daylights) and finds some hidden gems there.
These programmes were produced and first broadcast in 2003 and so don't acknowledge that John Barry died in 2011.
