Well known Wellington musician and Director of Music at St Mary of the Angels, Robert Oliver, gives an insight into playing the stringed Renaissance/Baroque instrument the viol. His group, the Palliser Viols, will also perform this weekend at Te Papa, exposing new audiences to these ancient instruments.
