That’s the tag line for Carrie the Musical, opening in Wellington – there will be blood and director Ben Emerson promises a lot of it. So much so there’s an audience “splash zone”. The famous Stephen King novel turned cult-hit film tells the story of Carrie, an awkward, repressed teenager with telekinetic powers who causes havoc on the school prom after she is humiliated by her peers. Audiences will see all its bloody mayhem at Bats Theatre.
