The love of the piano has been the driving force behind a new classical music festival in Martinborough. Former music teacher Cherry van Kranen bequeathed her Schimmel grand piano to the town, so it could be used by the community. Artistic director of the new festival Vicki Jones discusses Cherry van Kranen’s legacy, and what it means to have Michael Houstoun open the inaugural Martinborough Music Festival.
