Swedish soprano Lisa Larsson is in the country to sing Alban Berg’s lush, decadent, ultra-Romantic songs, and be the soloist in Mahler’s Fourth Symphony in the APO’s Heaven and Earth concert on Thursday. Lisa demonstrates how the Swedish language is conducive to singing because it’s naturally inflected and musical. She talks about moving from study to be a flutist into singing and the joy she gets from communicating emotions.
