Orchestra Wellington has gone for variety in 2018 with a Dvorak Symphony cycle, Verdi’s Requiem, concertos by Mozart, Britten and Bartok, new works by Composers in Residence Michael Norris and Gao Ping as well as collaborations with Sol3 Mio and Te Vaka next season. Musical Director Marc Taddei explains why they’ve kept the line up a secret, the importance of shaking things up and who will be guest appearing with the orchestra next year.
