The 2018 Auckland Writers Festival was launched last night by director Anne O’Brien.

The Festival is internationally recognised now with six days of ideas, readings, debates, stand-up poetry, literary theatre, children’s writers and free public and family events. Audiences keep growing with audiences topping 73,000 last year.
