    Lo Cór de la Plana: Occitan a capella song

    Founded in 2001, Lo Cór de la Plana is an all-male a capella group from the French port city of Marseille who sing in the ancient and disappearing Occitan language. They accompany themselves with energetic percussion, hand clapping and foot stamping, and were a popular act at the WOMAD 2009 festival held recently in New Plymouth (Buda Musique 3017530)
