    Six young singers compete for New Zealand's leading singing prize: Isabella Moore (sop), Bianca Andrew (mezzo), Oliver Sewell (ten), Edward Laurenson, Christian Thurston and Benson Wilson (bars) perform before the judge, visiting English soprano Kathryn Harries, with Terence Dennis (pno) and the New Zealand SO/Emmanuel Joel-Hornak

    The evening begins with a selection of lieder and art song accompanied on the piano and in the second half the competitors sing their chosen aria with the orchestra
