    Jim Morrison lived life with starburst intensity and died of heart failure in Paris, aged 27 in July 1971. On the posthumous American Prayer album, the surviving Doors put Morrison's poetry recordings to music as a final and lasting legacy to the rock and roll poet. This is The End. Or is it? (Rhino)
