  • 12:00 AM. Music Through the Night

The Latent Music in Nietzsche's Zarathustra.

Friedrich Nietzsche said of his controversial book Thus Spoke Zarathustra that it would be possible to consider it all as a musical composition. The book was influenced by music, and was in turn the inspiration for several major composers. In this programme, Ryan Smith traces the musical connections in Zarathustra.
