    The Boswell Sisters

You may not have heard of the Boswell Sisters, but in the early 1930's jazz world, they were big names. The sisters were three hard-working vocalists who recorded a couple of hundred singles in around 6 years, appeared on radio, in vaudeville and in quite a few movies. After that period of success, at the end of 1935, they simply moved on with their lives. Steve Danby looks back at their careers (RNZ)
