Summer Vegetables

Ingredients

  • fresh peas podded
  • fresh broad beans – pod and remove the outer shell from the bean – either blanch in boiling water or remove by hand
  • fresh asparagus – peeled and trimmed
  • fresh beans – trim the ends and drop into boiling water

Method

Cook the green vegetables in boiling water, drain and serve in a bowl with a little butter tossed through.
