The Fiji government's appeal against the inclusion of the Labour Party in a multi-party cabinet will be heard on June 18th.

Fiji's chief justice, Daniel Fatiaki, has ruled that the case will be heard by a panel of five judges over three days with a ruling expected on the final day.

Labour argues that it must be included in a multi-party cabinet as it is the second largest party in Fiji's parliament and has the numbers required under the constitution.
