The Solomon Islands peace monitoring council says it has collected another high-powered weapon which was handed in to an opposition MP by someone wishing to remain anonymous.
An amnesty for the surrender of all illegally held weapons expires at the end of the month.
Several hundred weapons are still to handed in.
