A watchdog body in American Samoa says it'is time for new blood in the government

A non political organisation set up as a watchdog group in American Samoa has accused the government of corruption and says there is a need for new blood.

The group ,The Common Cause of American Samoa, heard a former Assistant Attorney General, Robert Maez, say that now was the time to weed out bad apples in every department of government.

He said the that American Samoa was not a paradise because of the widespread corruption.
