An unidentified gunman in Samoa has killed a plantation worker by shooting him in the back seven times.
Anisi Laiele, who was 34, died at a coconut plantation in Mulifanua on Upolu island.
It is not known why the shooting took place.
Our correspondent, Alan Ah Mu, says there was a witness to the shooting.

Workers at the plantation have in recent years been beaten, threatened and shot at, allegedly by residents of nearby villages.
Meanwhile, the general manager of Samoa Trust Estates Corporation, which owns the plantation, has criticised the government for sending police officers to East Timor to help sustain law and order.
Fonoiava Siali'i Simi says it is useless for police to stop trouble-makers overseas while these crimes were happening in Samoa.
