A second group of eleven villagers reported missing at sea late last Friday in Fiji have been found safe and well.

The alarm was raised when they failed to arrive at Koro Island after leaving Kubuloa on the southern coast of Vanua Levu in an open boat before dawn on Friday.

An air and sea search was due to begin on Saturday morning, when a report was received that their boat had run out of fuel in bad weather and drifted ashore on another island.

The first group of 11, who went missing on a voyage from Taveuni to Koro Islands are now believed to have died after a four day air and sea search found no trace of them.

Memorial services for members of the group were held at the weekend
