More than a thousand customers showed up for the first hour of a fast food trial in American Samoa this morning.
Officials at the McDonalds restaurant say they were expecting three thousand people to sample the free breakfast.
The restaurant did not advertise the free food but many learned of it through the media, with hundreds rushing off and causing traffic jam.
