A contingent of fifteen police officers from Samoa will leave tomorrow for twelve months of peace keeping duties in East Timor.

The contingent, which includes two woman officers, will join two other police officers who are currently serving in East Timor under the United Nations Peace Keeping mission.

The Prime Minister, Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, says the UN has asked for more Samoan police officers for peace keeping missions in other countries.
