Three thousand year-old skeleton found in Fiji

A skeleton found in Fiji has proved that the country has been inhabited for at least three thousand years.

The well-preserved skeletion, along with pottery was found on the island of Moturiki in June and has been undergoing tests.

The discovery was made by a geography student at the University of the South Pacific.

The find has been described as the most important discovery in Fiji for the past thirty years which tells Pacific Island people their true history.
