Solomon Islands search and rescue officials say they fear nine people who have been missing at sea for a week have drowned.
Their motorised canoe has been found capsized near the Florida Islands which are halfway between Guadalcanal and Malaita.
The boat was travelling from Honiara to Auki.
The officials say there has been no sign of the passengers and they are believed to have drowned.
