The former director of Samoa's Internal Affairs Ministry Savea Foma'i Sapolu, who resigned after allegations of malpractice against him, has been employed by the Prime Minister's Department.
Savea resigned as director several months ago after an investigation by the Public Service Commission or PSC found instances of alleged malpractice.
He and several others from Internal Affairs were charged under the Public Service Act.
The Samoa Oberver reports Savea is contesting the charges and is awaiting a hearing.
