An unsuccessful American Samoan candidate for the seat in the US Congress, Fagafaga Daniel Langkilde, has not ruled out running for the post of governor or again for Congress.

Fagafaga lost last week's run-off election for the Congress seat against Faleomavaega Eni Hunkin, who was re-elected to the post in Washington for an eighth term.

Fagafaga says he has been approached by supporters to run again.

His comments come after Faleomavaega also said he might stand for the 2004 governor's race.
