More than 15 hundred registered voters are set to cast ballots in a by-election tomorrow in Samoa.

The Alataua West District on Savaii became vacant after the deal of Nomumalo Faiga.

Three candidates will contest the election including 90 year old Ta'atiti Alofa, who is understood to be the oldest candidate to have ever contested a Parliamentary seat in Samoa.

The local media is predicting that the rulling human Rights Protection Party candidate Tuiota Sakaria will win the poll.
