In Papua New Guinea , the Western Highlands police Commander Allan Kundi has warned residents to take more security precautions following the robbery of a Mt Hagen Bank a fortnight ago which left three alleged robbers dead and one in police custody.
Mr Kundi says the six other robbers who are still on the run from police are heavily armed and he warns the public to take precautions where necessary.
He says three high-powered guns used by the robbers, including two M-16s and a 303, have already been found.
