A 19 year old youth charged with the murder of a five year old girl appeared in court in Apia yesterday under heavy police security.
Ieu Pasia Leleimalefaga entered and left the courtroom accompanied by seven police officers - two at his sides, one in front and four protecting his back.
While in the dock, he did not look up once but stood with his head bowed.
The case was adjourned until February the 24th to give the accused time to consult his lawyer.
