The first ever full scale airport emergency exercise in the Marshalls is due to be held at the Amata Kabua International Airport in Majuro today.

To make the exercise more realistic there will be real fire to simulate a real accident.

The director of the Marshall Islands Airports Authority, Jack Chong- Gum, says about 80 volunteers will play the role of victims of an aeroplane crash.

A full scale emergency exercise is scheduled to be held every three years.
