Two teenage men were charged in the Marshall Islands this week for raping six and seven year old girls in separate incidents.

One teenager was charged with rape, kidnapping, assault and battery for allegedly raping a seven year old in Majuro early Tuesday morning.

The charges say that he entered the house where the girl was sleeping, forcibly abducted her and hit her when she tried to scream and took her to a nearby beach where he raped her.

In the second case a 17 year old from a rural area of Majuro was charged with rape, kidnapping, assault and battery, for an incident that is alleged to have happened last November.

The girl who was raped was six years old.
