One of Vanuatu's biggest investors, Dinh Van Than, says he is planning to sell his Blue Water Island Resort to a group of US actors from the film series, Star Trek.
Mr Than hasn't revealed the actors' names or what they are paying, but he says the sales papers are being processed.
The resort consists of more than 50 bungalows, a restaurant and bar, an island with a golf course which is linked by a bridge, a marine park and a traditional village.
Blue Water Island Resort is 30 kilometers south of Port Vila on Efate Island.
Dinh van Than and his family, who are originally from Vietnam, are prominent in many fields in Vanuatu - and are the country's biggest private sector employer.
