New American Samoa Governor to be sworn in tomorrow

American Samoa's acting governor, Togiola Tulafono, will be sworn in as governor tomorrow at noon, following the death of Tauese Sunia ten days ago.

The swearing in will be administered by the chief justice, Michael Kruse, at the executive office building in Pago Pago.

The occasion will also be attended by the Catholic bishop John Quinn Weitzel and other church leaders.

Togiola, who is a lawyer by training, has been an associate judge, a senator and policeman.
