Samoan banned from American Samoa on suspicion he smuggles cigarettes

A Samoan businessman, Sooaga Milo, who is susected of smuggling cigarettes from Apia to American Samoa, has been banned from entering Pago Pago.

American Samoa's Attorney General, Fiti Sunia, issued an alert a week ago to airlines and passenger ferries informing them that Mr Milo was prohibited from entering the territory.

Mr Milo has asked the Prime Minister's Office in Samoa to intervene.
