Fiji supreme court ruling unlikely in short term

The Fiji Supreme Court judgement on the Labour Party entitlement to be part of the multi-party government is not due to come out for at leasdt two weeks.

All four senior overseas judges who heard the case with Fiji's chef justice, Daniel Fatiaki, left the country by Monday.

The Daily Post says Justice Fatiaki has also flown off to Papua New Guinea for a law conference ad is not due back until some time next week.

The case involves the Qarase'd appeal against previous High Court anbd Appeal Court judgements that the Labour Party is constitutionally entitled to be part of the cabinet.
