A tropical cyclone has formed in the area of the eastern Solomon Islands and northern Vanuatu.
A warning has been issued for Cyclone Gina as it is moving in a southwesterly direction.
Forecasters say if the cyclone continues on its current path, northern Vanuatu can expect winds to increase to damaging gale force or stronger from early tomorrow.
