The president of Palau says in developing its tourism industry it is important for the country to maintain its culture.
Tommy Remengesau says Palau is too small to opt for mass tourism.
"I would love for Palau to concentrate more on quality tourism because we have limited resources our ecosystem is very fragile and I think if we went with that policy we can indeed have a sustainable future"
