The United States is holding a conference to highlight investment opportunities in the US territories and enable territory leaders to meet with the nation's top investors face to face.
The Department of Interior is holding the conference early next month in Washington DC.
It will highlight business opportunities for investors in American Samoa, the Northern Marianas, Guam and the US Virgin Islands.
The governors of the territories will then be available for private meetings with the aim to bring together officials and businessmen to promote economic development and get projects moving.
The department says the US territories offer incentives unavailable elsewhere, including special tax benefits, special grants and unique flexibility on wages and immigration.
It also promoted the US territories as strategic American gateways to regions with the highest economic growth, offering access to the Asia-Pacific and Latin-American markets in a politically stable environment.
