The Chief Executive Officer of Samoa Air, Andre Lavigne says the airline will continue operating while its sole aircraft is being upgraded.
The company's Twin-Otter will be out of action for about six weeks, and there were concerns the airline could not afford to lease a replacement to fly its domestic routes to the outer islands.
But Mr Lavigne says investors are signing contracts today so funding is no longer a stumbling block.
"We don't see that as being a problem. We're finalising our agreements with outside investors as we speak."
