A lawmaker has accused his colleagues of corruption after they rubber-stamped the governor's choice for the new director of education.
Agaoleatu Charlie Tautolo says he's frustrated with the House of Representatives for approving Dr Lui Tuitele by fourteen votes to three.
The nominee Dr Tuitele is being sued for twenty-five thousand US dollars for allegedly using hire cars without permission.
Agaoleatu Charlie Tautolo says allegations against Dr Tuitele were uncovered in a government report, and lawmakers have sold their principles.
He says members of the house showed a lack of caution.
The appointment of Dr Tuitele will now go before the Senate.
