An Apia company says it has a new product that can make clean drinking water without any need for chemicals.
Clean Water Systems says its water filtration system consists of a two-chamber tank and uses biological organisms to clean water which passes to a storage tank.
The firm says its system uses no chemicals, no power and needs no replacement parts, including filters.
It says it wants to install the system in all schools in Samoa for health reasons.
