Papua New Guinea teachers are jubilant they have finally got airline tickets and holiday leave entitlements.
The National reports that 261 teachers in National Capital District and Central Province were waiting for leave tickets to go home for the Christmas New Years holidays.
Yesterday 108 received their leave entitlements.
The Department of Finance and Treasury came up with 558-thousand US, for teachers leave entitlements and airline tickets.
