Tongan RAMSI contingent returns

The First Tongan Contingent to the Regional Assistance Mission in Solomon Islands has arrrived back in the kingdom on an Australian Airforce plane.

Reports from the Tongan Defence Headquarters say the 32-member contingent arrived at Fua'amotu Aiport where officials, family and friends were there to welcome them.

Menawhile a special welcoming parade will be held on Friday morning at Mala'e Pangai.

President of the Free Church of Tonga, the Reverend Semisi Fonua, will conduct the thanksgiving prayer at the parade.

The Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Prince 'Ulukalala Lavaka Ata will then address the troops.
